Yes. A dating app. A little ghosting on Bekah’s part + a lot of persistence from Tim = One Amazing Love Story We both are believers in Everything Happens For a Reason and at the Right Moment. We first met virtually, with Tim sending some “How are you?… How is your day going?” type messages via Facebook that didn’t lead to much, and one really amazing message for us to finally meet in person. Cafe Intermezzo, Our 1st Date We were only supposed to meet for drinks, but drinks turned into dinner and dessert. 4 hours of conversation later, we had the waiters giving us the look to leave so they could close up. As Tim put my rain jacket around my shoulders - we had our first kiss in the middle of restaurant. Then like kids in high school we held hands to the car. Some time elapsed between a few amazing dates and the next time we would meet again. [Insert Bekah’s Ghosting Phase & God having a time for everything] Kevin’s Rathbun’s Steakhouse. Our 2nd, 1st Date, Tim picked me up to go to a dinner that was actually for work (interviewing a potential PA). When I got in the car, he said he needed to let them know I was coming. I said, “You didn’t tell them I was coming.” He smirked and responded, “I didn’t know you were coming till you got in the car.” - Touche sir. He made a valid point. At the end of the evening, when it was just Tim and I - he asked what happened, why the ghosting - I spoke honestly and sincerely. Something he wasn’t expecting.
